As we probably already know sneaker has become a huge trend for couple of years now. From slip-ons to sport shoes, we sure have seen them on someone, weather a friend, famous people even fashion bloggers.
Many shoe brands such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, their new releases has attracts people's attention, including my self.
I have to say i wasn't a big sneakers person at first. I prefer flats or sandals maybe heels sometimes depends on the occasion. After seeing many releases and trends, of course I had to buy one. Yes, i can get caught up in trends pretty quick.
One brand that stood out for me was Adidas. After many collaboration with other big fashion brands and celebrities, Adidas sure took the spotlight.
I've been on a hunt for the Adidas x Stan Smith shoes, it wasn't easy i have to say. At first i had my eye on the Adidas x Pharrell Williams one. Of course they didn't have my size, i was too late i should've bought it sooner.
Move past from that, i decide to look at the Stan Smith's line. I do like them, but my concern was everyone will have the same style (since they didn't have much variety here in Jakarta). So i asked my aunt to look for it when she was in the US. Same issue with her, it was really hard to find my shoe size (38/39). After searching all over San Francisco, finally my aunt found one (thank you).
This shoe is very versatile, you can wear it with literally anything. From jeans to skirt, t-shirt to dress, you can style it what ever you like. Weather you want to style it a bit more dressy with a bit of accessory or none at all, seriously its up to you. Also, you can wear this to school, to the mall even special events, just depend on what you pair it with. Plus, shoes are far way more comfortable!
I pair this shoe with this dress from Day to Night (local brand). What i like about this dress is that i can wear it for any occasions. I wore this dress with this shoe because i wanted to dress it down a little. Pairing it with a statement necklace just finishes the whole look.
